Come join us for a Native American experience, a field trip at This Is The Place that will enhance your social studies curriculum.
Our program consists of a visit to our Native American Teepee and Hogan.
Next they may discover how Native Americans tanned animal skins, what they used them for, and learn about and be able to recognize different native Utah animal furs.
Have you ever wondered how the Native Americans tracked animals? You may have the opportunity to discover how to identify animal tracks. Then you will become the tracker and match actual tracks to individual animals.
Other pioneer sites may be substituted for one of these presentations, depending on availability.
