This Is The Place for all your SUMMER FUN! This season is one of our busiest, packed with exciting special events and fun activities around the village.

Climb aboard one of our historical trains where you'll enjoy a tour of the entire Village with stops to explore all of our favorite areas. Interact with the artisans in their shops and learn more about life in the early days of the West. You'll see a saddle maker tooling leather – you can even join him and try your hand at leather working. The blacksmith is at his forge and the Village Weaver will demonstrate wool carding and spinning. Your little ones can saddle up on one of our ponies and enjoy a ride under the carrousel. There are take-home crafts, fun pioneer games and other activities daily.

In the creek by the Treasure House there's panning for gold. And, dig in Prospector Pit or crack a giant geode while you learn about how mining shaped the Utah frontier. Nearby, the dancers at the Native American Village are a show-stopping crowd favorite, so plan plenty of time to include them in your visit.

Come hungry – the Huntsman Grill has great grub! And save room for a little bit of sugary heaven at Brigham's Donut Shop where the donuts are made fresh daily. Or, head up to the ZCMI Candy shop where you'll find old-fashioned treats. The Heritage Park Gift Shop at the Visitor Center is the best little shop west of the Mississippi and is open year round and doesn't require admission. While you are at the Visitor Center, don't miss the Mormon Battalion Museum and the Stoddard Art Gallery. Our theatre presents a short film on the founding of Utah upon request.
