Trail Rides are open at This Is The Place Heritage Park.
Horseback Trail Rides are operated by Utah Trail Ride Adventures in partnership with This Is The Place Heritage Park. With over 450 acres to explore you will enjoy iconic views of the Salt Lake Valley as you ride through the base of Emigration Canyon. Rides for ages 8 and up are available by appointment only. (Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult).

Please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled ride. Horseback rides leave at the scheduled time. Plan to reschedule if you are unable to arrive 20 minutes before your schedule ride.

Trail rides are guided by experienced wranglers and we have healthy horses available for every skill level. Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, you will enjoy all that our Trail Rides have to offer. Rides can be booked for individuals, small or large groups and corporate events. Pricing
$75 per person for a 60 minute Horseback Trail Ride
(RIde times: Monday - SATURDAY 9:00 AM, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm)
Trail Ride includes admission into This Is The Place Heritage Park.
Please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled ride. Horseback rides leave at the scheduled time. Plan to reschedule if you are going to be more than 5 minutes late.

Purchase rides to gift to friends, family, or employees. Purchase the ride in advance, send the code and allow them to book when it’s convenient.
Online reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
There will be a fee if your ride is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
If under the age of 18, trail ride waiver must be signed by a legal guardian.
No riders under the age of 8.
No double riders.
Maximum weight limit per rider is 220 lbs.
You must be able to climb on your horse without assistance.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited prior to departure on trail rides.
Long pants recommended. No open toed shoes or sandals.
Utah Trail Rides are run by Utah Trail Ride Adventures in partnership with This Is The Place Heritage Park.
Inclement weather is the only exception to our 48 hour cancellation policy. RIDES MAY BE CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. Utah Trail Ride Adventures Management will make the call on safe riding conditions for guests and horses.
