Reserve Your School Field Trip

Each year we host thousands of students during "This Is The Place to Experience History" field trips. We offer a guided, 2.5 hour, "hands on" total environment learning laboratory that is both fun and educational. We match the students' field trip experience to the grade level curriculum, allowing them to return for a new experience each year. We accommodate preschool through 12th grade classes.

With this grade specific field trip, students might attend a pioneer school class, do chores, visit the shaving parlor, watch the blacksmith, or pull a handcart. They actually experience pioneer life and compare it to modern times.

Admission is $4 per student. Your registration allows one teacher per class to come for free. Additional chaperones will be charged a $6 admission fee per person. This option is not available for Homeschool groups, After School programs or Summer Camps. Memberships Do Not Apply.

We now offer a self-exploration option. Must be scheduled in advance to receive discount. This will give each individual a wrist band with 3 additional activities to do in the park. The group will be able to self-explore the park and have unlimited access to ride the train. There is no time limit for the day of your visit. Available June-August. Admission is $8 per student and $12 per chaperone. Memberships Do Not Apply.
