Andrus Halfway House & Farm

Lucy Loomis Tuttle, wife of Milo Andrus, was one of Utah’s first female business owners. The term “Halfway House” referred to the building’s location as a stop on the traveler’s road through the Salt Lake Valley. The building was run by Tuttle until she relocated to Spanish Fork, UT in 1868.
