Hooper and Eldredge Bank

William H. Hooper and Horace Eldrege opened a bank in the 1850s in Salt Lake City, UT, providing much needed credit to the citizens of Utah Territory. In 1872, the bank was rechartered as the Deseret National Bank, which prospered until a later acquisition in 1932.
