Savage Livery Stable

  • Representational Building 1850's
  • Replicated in 1996

The livery stable housed the animals and vehicles of travelers who stayed overnight in the hotel or inn. The livery also rented horses, wagons, and carriages. The Heritage Village Livery is built using pegged timber framing, which is a type of period construction. It is one of the few places in the Village where this construction remains visible.
