While the precise history of this cabin is unclear, it was owned by the 1870s by a settler named Solon D. Richardson who purchased the cabin and its 160-acre homestead in West Jordan, UT. Richardson and his family lived in the cabin and operated a barn, cow shed, and machine shop on the property.
