This is the Place Heritage Park is open Monday-Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm. The park is closed Sunday but the Pioneer Center & Gift Shop are open seven days a week for your enjoyment and shopping. Visit our hours & admissions page for more information or to purchase tickets.

Seasonal Schedules

The park offers something special every time of year! Our hours, events, activities and admission rates vary slightly based on season. Summer season activities include train rides, horseback riding, live animals and hands-on family activities. The winter season includes festive lights, holiday events, and indoor exhibits.

Where To Start

Begin your visit at the Pioneer Center, where you can learn about the history of the Park and the story behind the iconic This Is The Place Monument. From there, your journey through Utah’s past begins. Explore the historic buildings and activities in Heritage Village, the Native American Village, and the rest of the park from there.
